Make-up Lessons
Asynchronous Video Lessons
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson for any reason, the lesson will automatically transition to an asynchronous video lesson. The student will submit a video of the assigned weekly material by the scheduled lesson time. Dr. Wong will carefully review the performance and provide personalized video feedback, including demonstrations, technical guidance, musical suggestions, and practice strategies. This format ensures that students continue to receive individualized instruction while maintaining consistent weekly progress.Likewise, if Dr. Wong is unable to teach an in-person lesson due to professional engagements—including performances, masterclasses, conferences, adjudication, or other educational activities—the lesson will also transition to the asynchronous video format. These professional activities contribute to Dr. Wong's continued artistic and pedagogical growth, ultimately enriching the learning experience of every student.
Asynchronous lessons also foster independent practice habits, self-evaluation, and personal responsibility, all of which are essential skills for long-term musical development.
-
Cancellation
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a lesson.
