“Finding a great piano teacher has proven to our family to be a really hard thing to do. Dr. W. has been the only teacher my daughter has been satisfied with over the 10 years she has been learning piano. He not only makes a really hard piece easy to learn but also fun. My time learning under Dr. Wong was short but incredibly helpful in the few lessons we had. Dr. Wong was very well-equipped and prepared to address any parts of the music I brought to him, and with one look, could tell me exactly what I was doing wrong. We discussed technique, phrasing, and the shape. He greatly helped my ability to make a phrase sound musical and encapsulating rather than just notes being played, and was able to help me navigate around my previous tendonitis injury.
